Speaking Overview
Why me, why now?
There is a fierce urgency to engage, educate, and embrace the next generation of environmental leaders; but who is leading the effort and at the table on behalf of generation and cultural inclusion? Millennials are the largest generation in American history. Born between 1978 and 2000, they are 95 million strong, compared to 78 million Baby Boomers. They are independent-politically, socially, and philosophically-and they are spearheading a period of sweeping change in America and around the world. My strategy is to explain with simplicity the emerging power of the Millennial Generation, discuss entertainment, social media, and technology as tools to mobilize the next generation of conservationists, and show how they (and their supporters from other generations) are poised to change our nation and our world for the better while laying out a socially responsible plan for progressive change that today's youth are ready to implement.
